How I work:
I do the initial evaluation and all follow up visits virtually. There are no in person visits.
The initial evaluation is usually between 75 and 90 minutes.
Follow up visits are 20 to 30 minutes.

What I treat:
I specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of ADHD and conditions associated with ADHD, but I also treat most mood disorders, generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, social anxiety disorder, post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), specific phobias such as fear of flying, binge eating disorder, some forms of sexual dysfunction including PE, adjustment disorder, and insomnia.

Conditions not treated:
Due to the limitations of solo practice and telemedicine, I do not treat the following: bipolar I disorder, borderline, narcissistic, or antisocial personality disorders, schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, paranoia, psychosis, substance use disorder, frequent suicidal ideation, or anyone who has been psychiatrically hospitalized within the last 5 years.
Also, I do not do any kind of disability or work evaluations.

Ages seen:
I see patients age 21 and up.

Costs and payment:
The initial evaluation is $300 and follow up appointments are $150.
I do not take insurance. I take Credit cards, HSA (health savings accounts) and FSA (flexible spending accounts). I can provide Superbills for out-of-network reimbursement by insurance. Please check with your insurance to see if they will cover out-of-network expenses.

What is the initial evaluation like?

The first meeting is a consultation and is meant to determine whether an ongoing treatment relationship can be mutually agreed upon. If we proceed with treatment, follow up appointments will be scheduled.

What is your treatment approach?

I used evidence-based medicine and my twenty-plus years of experience to manage psychiatric conditions. I also encourage proper diet, exercise, sleep, structure, and control of any other psychiatric conditions to maximize overall functioning. My foundation is that mental health is determined by biological factors (genetics, diet, exercise), psychological factors (how you interact with the world), and social factors (the stresses the world places on you).
